Wolves winger Adama Traore is ‘100 per cent’ suited to Liverpool, says Emile Heskey

Emile Heskey thinks Wolves winger Adama Traore is well suited to Liverpool due to the pace he would offer them on the counter attack.
The 25-year-old has been consistently linked with a transfer to Anfield and after the Reds’ 1-0 victory over Wolves on Monday, Jurgen Klopp described Traore’s speed as ‘undefendable in moments’.
With the Premier League champions down in sixth in the table following a wretched run of form, they will likely be looking to bolster their ranks in the summer.

And ex-Liverpool striker Heskey believes Traore is a perfect fit for his former side.
‘I think he suits a lot of teams but 100% Liverpool,’ Heskey told Rousing The Kop.
‘If you look at last season the way Liverpool played a lot of the goals they scored, a lot of them were fast counter attacks.
‘He definitely comes into that bracket, again there’s no reason why you can’t have competition in several positions.’
Centre-forward is said to be another position that Liverpool are looking at strengthening and two of the world’s top young strikers, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, have both been linked to the Merseyside club.
Reds legend Jamie Carragher has been keen for his side to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Mbappe in the past, but after watching Borussia Dortmund’s in-form No.9 Haaland of late, he has changed his mind.
‘I’ve watched the clips today, and I’ve always gone with Mbappe before… but there’s something about Haaland,’ Carragher told Sky Sports.
‘He looks mad. But in a good way. He doesn’t care.
‘The celebration in the Champions League with the goalkeeper, I loved it. I like it.
‘I’d go for Haaland.’
