Fans cringing as WWE legend gets 'embarrassing' name change for AEW return

The Rated R Superstar, who left WWE in 2023 and joined AEW shortly after, had been working under his real name Adam Copeland, but his return from injury has sparked a new moniker for 2025. On last night's episode of AEW Dynamite – which marked the show's debut on MAX as WWE makes the jump to Netflix – he was introduced as Cope.
