Eric McCandless // Getty Images Get your dancing shoes ready, because season 35 of Dancing With the Stars is finally here! The reality dancing competition returned for a new season of live shows on September 15, and the show locked in some pretty major stars for the competition, from Olympian Amber Glenn to reality star Ciara Miller.
As always, this season of DWTS is pitting pop stars, reality show alums, actors, and professional athletes against one another in a heated classic ballroom competition. Each celeb is, of course, paired with a dance pro to guide them through their journey and help them get the biggest honor of all: the Mirrorball Trophy.
The entire season 35 cast was announced on Good Morning America on September 2, along with their professional partners, and here’s everything you need to know about the cast...including who has already been eliminated. (Side note: We’ll be keeping this updated each week, so check back to see who’s still in the competition.)
ABC always loves to throw an Olympian in the mix, and this season, it’s Blade Angel Amber, who revealed during an episode of House of Maher that “it’s been a dream of mine” to do DWTS “since I saw Meryl [Davis] do it in 2014.”
Dance experience: If you’ve seen Amber on the ice, then you know she’s a dancer at heart.
Last season, it was Alix Earle—but this season, the internet personality competing for the Mirrorball Trophy is Connor Wood, aka Fibula (who, btw, is good friends with DWTS alum Dylan Efron).
Known for: Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast and Fibs & Friends
Dance experience: If he has any, it’s news to me!
It wouldn’t be a season of DWTS without a few athletes, and in season 35, you can look forward to seeing two-time Paralympian Ezra Frech.
Known for: Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and Paris 2024 Paralympics (where he won two gold medals!)
Dance experience: He competes in track and field, but as far as I know, he’s new to the world of dance.
You know him for a million TV shows and movies, but did you know Harry was a professional dancer at the beginning of his career? Something tells us he’s still got it...
Known for: Glee , Shadowhunters , Grey’s Anatomy , and Crazy Rich Asians , among others
Dance experience: He served as a backup dancer for Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Madonna before transitioning to acting.
Back in December 2025, Jackson replied to a fan who asked whether he would “go on Dancing With the Stars next season” with a video compilation of dance clips, which he captioned, “Long story short... yes, yes I would.” Dreams do come true!
Known for: The Savannah Bananas baseball team and TikTok
Dance experience: Though he’s done plenty of choreography since joining the Savannah Bananas in 2022, Jackson surprisingly has no formal dance background.
Jenna is stepping back into her dancing shoes! She started her career as a professional backup dancer before becoming an actor. But dancing has always been in her DNA, so we’re thrilled she’s back at it.
Known for: Step Up , Witches of East End , and The Rookie , among others
Dance experience: Where to begin! Jenna is an extremely experienced dancer and rose to fame thanks to Step Up . She was also a backup dancer for Janet Jackson.
She’s been in several iconic aughts movies, including Save the Last Dance . In fact, if she doesn’t recreate her dance from that movie, I will personally write a letter of complaint.
Dance experience: Once again: Save the Last Dance.
Maura was also rumored for months before her casting was announced. Back in March, she even told The Hollywood Reporter that DWTS would “be a huge challenge,” but one she was willing to take on. “I know I’d throw myself into it and all the looks and glitter,” she added.
Known for: Love Island UK , The Traitors , and Love Island USA: Aftersun
Dance experience: Maura told THR that she did “a bit of Irish dancing” when she was younger.
Big news for Fresh Prince fans, because Tatyana will be joining her onscreen big brother, DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro, in the ballroom.
Known for: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Young and the Restless
Dance experience: While she’s better known for her singing skills, let’s not forget that we have her to thank for the TikTok dance trend set to Doechii’s “Anxiety.”
Along with an Olympian, most seasons of DWTS include a member of Bachelor Nation...and this season, it’s Tyler, who’s ready to compete six years after his ex, Hannah Brown, took first place in season 28.
Known for: The Bachelorette , Special Forces , and Going Home with Tyler Cameron
Dance experience: He competed on The Real Dirty Dancing back in 2022 (and finished as a runner-up!).
Show status: Sent home week 5 (11th place)
As Jimmy Kimmel joked when his onscreen sidekick was announced: “Guillermo will become the first-ever parking lot security guard to dance with the stars.”
Known for: Jimmy Kimmel Live! (though he first rose to fame while working as a parking lot security guard at the Hollywood Boulevard Masonic Temple studio)
Dance experience: None that I know of, but I’m excited to see him bust out some moves!
Show status: Sent home week 4 (12th place)
Ciara was rumored to be joining the cast for season 34, but this year, it’s finally happening! As she told Us Weekly when the rumors first began, “I want [a pro] who is hard on me. Like, ‘You got to get this down.’”
Known for: Summer House , The Traitors , and Love Island USA: Aftersun
Dance experience: Ciara actually grew up dancing, and revealed to Us Weekly that she took ballet for 10 years.
Show status: Sent home week 3 (13th place)
Fans have been side-eyeing the middle Hanson brother ever since he showed up in the audience during season 34’s “Wicked Night” episode—and it seems that he is, indeed, hitting the stage this season.
Dance experience: Seeing as he spends most of his time behind the keyboard while performing, this is a little unclear.
Show status: Sent home week 2 (14th place)
Any Food Network fans here? Then you’re well aware of Giada, who’s been a household name for decades.
Known for: Giada at Home (among many other Food Network shows)
Dance experience: Unclear, but I’m excited to see what moves she might have!
Show status: Sent home week 1 (tied for 15th place)
Brooks Nader’s sister is following in her footsteps and we can’t wait!
Dance experience: TBD, but we’ll find out!
Show status: Sent home week 1 (tied for 15th place)
After cheering on his wife Whitney Leavitt during season 34, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fan fave is now stepping into the ballroom himself (though let’s not forget that he already took the stage last year during Whitney’s Dedication Night dance ).
Known for: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Dance experience: Aside from doing TikTok dances, Conner appeared in the Off-Broadway dance show 11 to Midnight .
