Ex-Man United star Raphael Varane 'is considering shock RETIREMENT' after suffering a serious knee injury in his Como debut last month
Como defender Raphael Varane is reportedly considering retirement following his latest injury. The World Cup winner joined the newly-promoted Italian side as a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired this summer. The 31-year-old made 95 appearances for United before announcing his decision to leave in May this year. Varane made his Como debut in their Coppa Italia clash with Sampdoria last month and was forced off after just 20 minutes due to an injury.
