Manchester United paid tribute to the Munich Air Disaster victims during their clash with Crystal Palace. Ahead of kick-off supporters congregated outside Old Trafford for a fan-led service underneath the Munich memorial plaque, with club CEO Omar Berrada present. Ruben Amorim and Oliver Glasner both led their respective teams out and laid flowers on the ground minutes before the game. United and Crystal Palace players also wore black armbands to commemorate the 1958 disaster which claimed 23 lives, including eight players.
