Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has signed a new five-year contract with the club to end speculation surrounding his future. Davies, 24, has played 220 times for the German giants since arriving from Vancouver Whitecaps at the age of 18. The attacking left back has won 13 trophies with Bayern, including five Bundesliga titles and one Champions League, but with his deal running out in the summer, Davies looked set to leave the club.

Alan Shearer has warned Marcus Rashford that his move to Aston Villa is 'last chance saloon' for the forward. Rashford, 27, joined Villa on Sunday in a loan move running until the end of the season, with the Premier League outfit having an option to buy the forward from Manchester United for £40million in the summer. It is understood that Villa will cover 70 per cent of his wages, while the loan package will include bonuses for progressing in Europe and for qualifying for the Champions League again next season.
