A brutal injury sustained by UFC star Rongzhu has sparked fears among fans that the Chinese fighter has lost sight in one eye. The 24-year-old, competing in just his second bout after returning to the promotion this year, suffered fractures to his eye socket during his loss to Chris Padilla at UFC Vegas 97 on Saturday night. His injury came as a result of a devastating elbow from the American in the second round, which Rongzhu reacted to by pointing at his opponent and accusing him of using his fingers to poke him.

The Nigerian striker was heavily linked with a move to the Blues throughout the summer transfer window, with a move to the Premier League his 'dream', but the deal fell through on deadline day. Osimhen, one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe, instead left Napoli for Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray on a shock season-long loan.
