Claire Danes burst into 'convulsive tears' after learning she was pregnant at 44

The "Homeland" actress, 46, told host Amy Poehler ona Tuesday, Jan. 27, episode of her "Good Hang"podcast that she "totally" burst into tears at the thought of being pregnant for a third time.Danesshares threechildren with husband, Hugh Dancy: Cyrus, Rowan and Shay. Each of her children was born five years apart from one another.

"I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears," she said on the podcast. "It was a pure like … meltdown."

"None of this was by design," she added. "I didn't know it was physically possible. I was 44. And actually, Rowan was very hard-earned. I had to do two rounds of IVF."

"We just have such a good time making it," she continued. "Thank you so much for letting us make more."
