Claire Danesis opening up about her journey to baby number 3.
The "Homeland" actress, 46, told host Amy Poehler ona Tuesday, Jan. 27, episode of her "Good Hang"podcast that she "totally" burst into tears at the thought of being pregnant for a third time.Danesshares threechildren with husband, Hugh Dancy: Cyrus, Rowan and Shay. Each of her children was born five years apart from one another.
"I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears," she said on the podcast. "It was a pure like … meltdown."
"None of this was by design," she added. "I didn't know it was physically possible. I was 44. And actually, Rowan was very hard-earned. I had to do two rounds of IVF."

The actress' revelation isjust the latest candid momentto come out of Poehler's podcast. Launched in 2025, theformer "Saturday Night Live" comedianhas hosted a veritable who's who of Hollywood elite, finding success with her casual tone and long-form format.
"Good Hang," whichwon the first ever Golden Globefor podcasting in January, is part of a class of celebrity-hosted shows that are redefining the press circuit.
"This is an attempt to try to make a very rough and unkind world filled with a little bit more love and laughter and laughing with people, not at them," Poehler said after her win at the Golden Globes earlier this month. She beat out more veteran shows in the genre like "Call Her Daddy" and "Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard."
"We just have such a good time making it," she continued. "Thank you so much for letting us make more."
