‘I’m proud of you’ – Sachin Tendulkar congratulates India bowler Ishant Sharma over 100th Test appearance
Sachin Tendulkar has congratulated Ishant Sharma for reaching 100 Test caps and says he is ‘proud’ of the India bowler, who became just the tenth Indian to reach the landmark in the third Test against England.
‘Playing 100 Tests is a great landmark for any cricketer, especially a fast bowler,’ Tendulkar posted on social media.
‘Have seen you play from your U-19 days and played alongside you in your first Test.
‘Proud of you and your service to team India. Continue to serve in the best possible manner. Congrats!’
