Jurgen Klopp singles out ‘unbelievable’ Leicester star for praise ahead crunch top four clash

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes an ‘unbelievable player’ ahead of their meeting with the Foxes on Saturday.
Leicester, currently third in the Premier League, lead fourth place Liverpool by three points with former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers looking to put another sizeable dent in their attempts to defend their crown.
Rodgers’ side missed out on Champions League qualification on the last day of the 2019-20 season but have kept a place in the top four all season as they look to qualify this term.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Klopp was quick to highlight the quality at Rodgers’ disposal, singling out Barnes for particularly high praise.
‘They were probably slightly disappointed they didn’t get Champions League last season, but it was always clear, if they don’t lose players they can head on and do it again,’ Klopp said.

‘They do good business, full-back, centre-half, all these things. Up front, [Marc] Albrighton, looks like he doesn’t get older, [Jamie] Vardy the same.
‘Barnes is probably one of the biggest talents, I’m not sure if he is respected or appreciated as much as he should be, he is an unbelievable player to be honest, a proper Leicester product. ‘
Liverpool will head to the King Power Stadium without Fabinho, with the Brazil international joining Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip on the sidelines.
Following their trip to Leicester, Liverpool take on RB Leipzig in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday before a Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield next Saturday.
