Footy legend Wendell Sailor is charged with assault after allegedly attacking two people in a pub - just days after being 'hit with an AVO'

NRL great turned former radio personality Wendell Sailor is facing five charges after allegedly assaulting two people and intimidating another at a trendy Sydney bar on Wednesday night, it has been reported. The 50-year-old was arrested by police at Pappy's Bar in the Sydney CBD at around 11am after patrons called triple zero to report the alleged attacks. Sailor was charged with two counts of common assault, one count of intimidating a person with intent to cause them fear of physical harm, offensive behaviour in public and remaining in the vicinity of a licensed premises after being excluded.
