Guy Fieriis bringing Flavortown to life in a brand-new competition series.

On Thursday, Jan. 29, Food Network announcedFlavortown Food Fightwill premiere Wednesday, March 4.

"Long referred to but never before seen, the mythical and delicious Flavortown will be the setting for this multi-round, culinary competition," reads a press release shared with PEOPLE.

Each episode will see Fieri welcome three chefs to Flavortown to test their culinary chops.

Contestants will compete in a variety of eateries with names inspired by the celebrity chef's life, including street food carts, neighborhood spots, fast casual restaurants and fine dining establishments.

"For the first time in television history, we're opening the gates of Flavortown and inviting some of America's most talented chefs to showcase their skills in a never-ending list of off-the-hook restaurants that you'll only find here," Fieri said in a statement. "We've been building out this universe for years and I'm stoked to finally invite everybody in!"

Chefs will be tested on both culinary knowledge and technical skills in a series of rounds. The winner of each episode can score up to $20,000 in prize money and will return to battle two new chefs the next week.

Each episode will include a skills challenge, followed by two rounds of cooking challenges, but only the final winner will take home the cash prize.

As the mayor of Flavortown, Fieri, 58, will announce every episode's theme with son Hunter, 29, making appearances for some challenges. Two guest judges will also visit to weigh in on dishes.

Warner Bros. Discovery first announced the show, with the working titleGuy's Flavortown Games, in May 2025.

TheDiners, Drive-Ins and Diveshost is on the road to recovery after hefell down a flight of stairswhile filming the new series.

Fieri "slipped down a set of steps and one foot went forward and the other foot got caught on the threshold," he told Fox News Digital in November. The accident caused a tear in his quad muscles.

"I'm doing better," hetold PEOPLEearlier this month. "It was definitely a trying holiday, but you know what, you get some real appreciation for having the ability to just get up and walk around and do everything you used to."

He added, "I'm a big CrossFit and hiking guy, so eight weeks of no hiking has driven me kind of crazy. But I'm looking forward to it, trying to take it easy."
