Ex-Wales boss Giggs - who also previously had a four-game stint as United's interim manager in 2014 - is a part-owner of League Two Salford, along with former team-mates David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and the Neville brothers, Gary and Phil. Giggs became Salford's director of football earlier this year, taking his first job since stepping down from his role with Wales in June 2022.
